1>  How many pounds are in a ton?

There are 2000 pounds in 1 ton.

2> How many tons are there in 1 cubic yard of material?

For most bulk materials, 1.35 tons is equivalent to 1 cubic yard of material. 

3> How much material is delivered in 1 truckload of material?

Approximately 22-25 tons of material can be delivered in 1 dump trailer or tri-axle dump,    depending on the pick-up and delivery location.  This excludes the 5 boroughs of NYC.

4> Is there a minimum order amount?

We will deliver as much or as little material as you need.  If you need less than a full truckload of material, the price of freight will be pro-rated.

5> How much area does 1 ton of stone cover?

1 ton of stone covers 100 square feet at 2 inches deep.


6> How many pallets on a truck load?

Usually 14-16 pallets depending on weight of each product.
 
7> How many square feet of stone on a pallet?

1 inch pattern approx. 250 sqft, 1 1/2 inch pattern approx. 150 sqft, 2 inch treads approx. 160 sqft.
 
8> What is the coverage for irregular flagstone ?

Approx 100-125 sqft per ton on 1 inch, approx. 60-75 sqft per ton.
 
9>  What colors does natural cleft come in?

Blue, Full Color and Lilac and the full color is greys, green, browns and blue range.
 
10> How much does bluestone weight?

14 lbs per sqft and 1 1/2 inch approx 21 lbs per sqft.
